I’m the voice (designer, planner, flower orderer - you name it!) behind Iris & Ivy. I’ve teamed up with my mom, Lynn, and together we are a mother-daughter duo who decided to turn our love for flowers into something bigger — and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!

Our story started back in October 2022, but the seeds were planted long before that. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2017 with a degree in Geoscience (totally different field, I know!). After graduation, I took what I thought would be a short-term job working with flowers. Turns out, I fell head over heels for the art of floral design and never looked back. Fast forward a few years, a lot of life changes (thank you, Covid), and a big dream to work for myself — and the idea of Iris & Ivy was born.

My mom, Lynn, spent over 30 years working in the medical field before deciding it was time for a new adventure. The timing couldn’t have been better — I was ready to dive into starting my own business, and my mom was ready to take the leap with me.

At Iris & Ivy, we believe flowers are for everyone, and we’re proud to welcome people of all genders, race, and backgrounds. We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly business and we think love — of every kind — deserves to be celebrated beautifully!

Our business is new, but our passion and experience are not. We’re so excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to be a part of your special moments.
